Ok, ok, ok. So I figured it was time for post #2...and instead of going into all of the detail about the current wedding plans, I figured a post written by yours truly, Anton Kodra, would be way more entertaining.... :)
I asked him to write up something rocking about how we really met and such, and this is what he gave me. Feel free to chuckle when needed, and don't be afraid to grab a couple tissues for the tears.
Enjoy... :) PS: I all the comments in ( )...are added from me, so don't judge.
Once upon a time, this stunningly handsome boy who lived in Utah received a random email about a job offer in the wild state of New Mexico. He had never even been to NM his entire life, but felt that he needed to be there. He made the long journey down from Utah, and started working at the Lab down in Los Alamos. Winter and spring soon passed, and summer came and brought new faces, friends, and activities. This amazingly gorgeous girl was in the middle of transferring schools from the lame Aggies of NMSU to the equally lame Wolverines of UVU (Anton only bleeds BYU blue for some reason..). She came home to Los Alamos to live with her familia for the summer and work at the Lab as a hott nurse (he's making that up..I'm just a student intern people don't be amazed). It was one random Sunday morning and Anton got called into work, because donut man ate an entire box of donuts and got sick and had to go home (true). He had to miss church to go to work, and after work he was exhausted and just wanted to sleep the rest of the day. There was an FHE unit at this girl Desta's casa that night, but he had no plans or intentions on going to that, especially after the long day at work. However, evening rolled around and he decided to get up and go to this activity unit. He just felt like he needed to go. He showed up and saw the same old peeps that he knew from the winter/spring, along with a few of the newer crowd that he had met the night before on the temple trip. He sat next to his bff Aldy and started talking about "muddin", "jeepin", etc. All of the sudden this beautiful girl walks in the room and catches his eye (this may or may not be me...its up for debate)! She is the prettiest girl that he had ever seen before. She took his breath away. She sat down on the couch across from where he was sitting. He just wanted to sit there and stare at her the entire time, but obviously that would've been "creeper" status, so instead he periodically would check her out, so she wouldn't catch him doing it (I didn't notice him at all, so he must have hid it well). In the middle of the lesson she started busting out laughing, and she had the cutest laugh ever! He knew that he had to talk to her...after the lesson everyone gathered around in the kitchen for refreshments...he started to talk to some of his friends, waiting for a good moment to try and flirt with this girl. He decided to make a joke about the cookies and how they tasted like they were sugar free (they really did taste that way). He walked in and talked to a group of the girls she was with, but she just looked at him like he was some freak and laughed at him. He was not going to give up, because he is a winner! Later, they all went outside and were chillin'...he went up to one of her friends and introduced himself and met a couple of her friends, when all of the sudden she walks up and he goes, "hey, who's this girl?!"...and right as he says that, she trips over nothing and does this crazy, ridiculous, and cute head-bob thing and goes, "HI! I'm Danielle!"...It was the hottest, funniest, cutest thing ever (im so embarrassed)! I would say she had him at "hello", but instead it was at "head-bob". Needless to say, the girl was extremely embarrassed about it all and just walked away after saying hi. They started to play this game that her and her friend suggested and the whole time he teased her about it. He secretly wished he was standing next to her, so they could get "close" during the twister-like game (he's making that up). The guy continued to flirt with her the entire night, and finally were able to talk a little bit, until it was time to say goodbye (he tried for 5 min to get me to stay, but I wouldn't, I got to play hard to get). The boy could not get the amazingly attractive girl out of his mind. The next night, they both caught eachother online and chatted for hours via Facebook (after he waited for hours on Facebook for me!!). They were up the entire night just talking, flirting, and joking around. They became best friends and had the best summer getting to know eachother. It was hard to say "goodbye", but fall came and the pretty girl had to go up to Utah to attend school. They continued dating "long distance" throughout the fall semester....and the rest is history...
He's one cute kid for sure...and yeah, I really like him!! Im pretty content with him! :)
Im going to be home in 10 days exactly, and will be doing wedding planning from the moment I step off the plane, to the moment I have to go back to Utah.. :'( Im so home sick, and really can't wait to go home...!!! Wedding planning. Here. I. Come...
