Mr. and Mrs. Kodra...AND our little Lady Bug: January 2013

Still Alive in Freezing Utah...

Anton is blowing up school. Like literally dominating. I knew he had it in him! (All it takes is just the right girl to make it happen hehe).

We are still bunkering down in the lovely Kodra's house.. it is simply wonderful! We appreciate all of the sacrifice they are having to do by having us live here. They are amazing. Still no word on when we will be able to move into our house...but we are hopeful it will be in the beginning of February still!
In the meantime I am still job searching... I have been fortunate enough to get a couple of interviews...so we will see how those turn out. We are confident that the right job will come soon! :)

AS I mentioned in the beginning...Anton is rocking the university world. His favorite class is Organic Chemistry (I'd rather stab 3000 needles in my eye than attend that class)...so he is amazing us all. He basically goes to school from 6 am to 6 pm... so he is a busy man! We are excited for his future college goals! He has already started his volunteer work at different hospitals and schools so pretty soon I am confident the U will be calling Anton begging him to attend their medical school hehe :)

So all is well with us. We enjoy seeing Westley and Stasia on a weekly basis. (I think they enjoy it a lot since we have a tv! ;) ), as well as having family dinners with all of the Kodra brothers and their awesome wives! WE really miss Conway and Elle..so Skype is usually a constant thing. ;)

Christmas, New Year, School/Work, and Utah!

oh my goodness, what a great Christmas the Kodra's had. It was wonderful getting to spend it in New Mexico with our favorite niece and nephew! Anton enjoyed the weekly celebration that is done at my house, and he couldn't get enough of playing with Conway. I think Jenny really enjoyed having a
"free" babysitter around...especially when she had visiting teachers over! hehe. Big Christmas news was that my father was given a "puppy"...little Rusty. He is a cute dog...sad that we don't get to watch him grow up, but not sad that our slippers wont get chewed on! Anton spoiled me as he always does...and I even think I was able to get a few presents for him that he didn't some how find out what they were...hehe he is the worst Christmas secret/surpriserrrr ever! haha It was a wonderful time being able to share the holiday together.

After Christmas the Christensen's, Lambsons, and Kodra's headed up to Frisco Colorado for some much needed snowboarding. The girls enjoyed the kids and the fire, and books, and shopping of course, while the men folk when on a snow mountain in -10 degree weather. Didn't wish I was up there at all. It was Anton's first time learning how to snowboard... And Cooper the great brother he is was a great teacher...he said he only wanted to punch Anton in the face 3 times..I say that's a success. Anton has decided that he does in fact enjoy the activity..so yep, you can add it to the list of Anton's hobbies...as well as some more "stuff" to buy...blahhH!

We got to ring in the new year with Cooper...all 3 of us were struggling to keep our eyes open at 10:30..the partying in Frisco was catching up to us! Luckily we forced each other to stay up till 12 so we could drink diet soda at 12 (that was the only drink in the house??)!

And now...the Kodra's have left New Mexico! :( It was very had for me to part from my Elle Bean and Conway...I only cried for 30 mins..haha, but all is well...I have SKYPE! :) I will miss my family greatly, we are all such great friends. I am looking forward to the time we are together again!

We are currently residing in Lehi Utah! Our resting point for now until forever I feel like. The house that we are moving into is having some problems with moving in due to the current residents that have not moved out, so we are holding fort at Anton's parent's house until we get to finally set up real house finally for real! We are hoping the time will come soon...but don't know! haha just a waiting game!

Anton starts school...TOMORROW! He's got his clothes out...his books packed, and even bought new school shoes for the occasion! He's cute. We are excited for this new adventure that he will begin...and hopefully be doing for the next 10 years...finishing as Dr. Kodra. I am so proud of him, and know he will do great. While my school going Husband is attending class...I am franticly searching for job...any job! haha So far no leads...but I am hopeful something will work out in the next couple weeks...so cross your fingers for me!

As it is..the Kodra's are finally living a normal life. We live in the same house, and have no plans of separating any time soon. :) We are so grateful to our family and friends that have been huge helps, and welcomed us, (and suitcases) with open arms. We are pumped for our new ADVENTURE in Utah...I feel that 2013 is going to bring some BIG surprises for us!
