Baby's First Month

Our Maggie girl (as my favorite dude Conway has decided to call Maggie), is already 1 month old! 
 During this month we have loved watching our Maggie's facial expressions just blossom! This girl can throw up a killer stink eye so beware! Over this month she has discovered different cries and sounds with her voice that are the cutesy sounds on this planet, even at 2 am! She loves to be standing or held out in a position where she's straight up..,and the bouncier you are the better! She loves baby yoga, and thanks to Jenny I'm pretty good and making sure we do it a couple times a day. Maggie is super strong and loves to have her head up looking at the world..there's no stopping her really!

Maggie has the best Grandma's ever (her shirt says so)...we love them both a million!

When she's fussy she's looking for a certain position and it may not be the one that worked the time before (super frustrating) haha! Still not interested in smiling... She's going to make us really work for it I feel... So me and Anton are working on our jokes! 

She has already experienced her first car trip, all the way to New Mexico...and loved it so much she just slept the WHOLE time. For the 10 hour drive she was awake a total of 30 minutes. It was awesome, but very freaky at the same time. While on her first trip, she got to meet some of her most favorite cousins on this planet!

Elle and Maggie are going to be the best of friends!

I realize that I never got a shot of Conway and Maggie, but he did love her just as much as Elle did, and was an expert holder. He didn't even get mad when she cried so much, cause he was really good and just plugging his ears. He and Elle were a blast!! Anton had really missed his Conway and Elle time, and really enjoyed being Conway's "friend" (or sometimes Antonieee) for the week...Thanks Lambsons and mom and dad for letting us crash there, we loved it all!

We've had a fun month, I can't believe how quickly it has passed. WE just started using size 1 diapers, and can still fit into new-born clothes, although due to her length, (not weight) I'm thinking I will need to pack away the new born clothes soon! :( I don't think she's made it to 8 pounds yet, but she sure is the cutest 7 pounder around! 

Being a mom is the hardest thing I've ever done...and something I had no idea how to do. Because of this I feel like the post-partum blues where especially difficult to get over! Babies are tough... And the movies make you believe they are these simple cute snuggle always sleeping little humans (or maybe that's all I noticed)... I didn't give all you moms out there enough credit.. So to those moms with one or 19..my hat off to you! Luckily it always gets better, and I wouldn't change a thing...we sure do love our Maggie Girl.
